What Is Russia’s Unified Electronic Visa?
The unified electronic visa is an electronic visa that allows nationals of eligible countries to travel to the Russian Federation for short stays for tourism, private visits, business, scientific, cultural, economic, sporting and other permitted purposes. Citizens of Türkiye are among the nationalities eligible to apply.
The application is completed online and no invitation or separate confirmation of the travel purpose is required. E-visa applications are processed by the official system within a maximum of 4 calendar days.
Unified electronic visas issued from 23 August 2025 are valid for 120 days from the date of issuance and allow a stay in Russia of up to 30 days from the date of entry. The visa validity period and the permitted period of stay are separate concepts.
If the purpose of travel is not covered by the electronic visa, a different visa category should be considered through the relevant Russian diplomatic mission or consulate.

No. The electronic visa is valid only at officially designated border crossing points. Entry and exit points should therefore be checked against the current official list when planning the trip.
Can I correct a mistake in my application later?
During processing, you may be asked to correct certain inaccurate information, in which case the processing period restarts. If an error is identified in an issued e-visa, the official technical support channel should be contacted.
